Why Choose Dr. Hermann for BodyTite?

One of the Only Providers in the Denton Area

Our plastic surgeon in Denton, TX, is among the few providers in the area offering BodyTite by InMode. This means you can access this advanced body contouring technology close to home, with a surgeon who has hands-on experience delivering predictable, natural-looking results.

Your Surgeon from Start to Finish

Dr. Bruce Hermann personally performs every BodyTite procedure from beginning to end. He does not hand off any portion of your treatment to nurses or assistants. That same commitment carries into your recovery, where he monitors your healing closely and provides dedicated follow-up care at our Denton, TX, office.

Focused on What's Best for You

Not every patient is a candidate for BodyTite, and Dr. Hermann will tell you that upfront. If liposuction, a tummy tuck, or a combination approach would better serve your goals, he will recommend it. His priority is always the right treatment for your body, not the most expensive one.

“Dr. Herman and his staff are absolutely wonderful to work with.  They make you feel comfortable from second you walk in. Definitely can tell that he has a passion for his art.  I highly recommend Dr. Herman and his staff for any body sculpting.” – Angela, 5-Star Review

The outpatient surgical treatment can be completed in about three to four hours.

The outpatient surgical treatment can be completed in about three to four hours.

Sedation

Your BodyTite procedure will begin at our medical facility with the administration of sedation and local anesthetic.

Incisions

Dr. Hermann will make very small incisions that will be used to insert a cannula (a thin tube used for suction).

Treatment

The cannula and directional RF work together to heat and remove fat during the BodyTite procedure. The device delivers RFAL into the treatment area to reduce fat and tighten the skin. By minimally manipulating the surrounding tissues, patients enjoy less severe side effects and a faster recovery.

Healing after Treatment

Side Effects

In the first few days after surgery, you may experience tenderness and bruising, especially near the treatment area. Dr. Hermann will provide you with detailed recovery guidelines and instructions that help ensure you are as comfortable as possible while healing.

Recovery

The recovery time following the procedure will vary depending on the size and number of treated areas. Bruising and pain typically fade within a few days. Typically, patients should rest for one to two days. Some treatment areas may require longer periods of rest.

Results

Patients notice results within a few months, and full effects appear up to 12 months after treatment. Unlike other minimally invasive contouring treatments, BodyTite doesn't need to be repeated. Patients should maintain a healthy lifestyle to prolong results.

Risks

While rare, patients may experience lumps near the treatment area that dissipate within a few weeks. Dr. Hermann has hands-on experience performing this procedure and will monitor patients closely throughout recovery, reducing the risk of complications.

When Liposuction Might Be a Better Fit

One alternative to BodyTite is traditional liposuction. Both procedures loosen fat before removing fat deposits with a cannula. However, there are important differences to consider.

Traditional liposuction is not intended to tighten skin, but it can remove large amounts of fat deposits.

BodyTite directly addresses loose skin by heating it. This results in noticeably tighter skin and higher levels of collagen. It can reduce fat, but can't remove as much fat as liposuction.
