During the first few weeks following your surgery, avoid any strenuous exercise that could cause your incisions to open or affect the results of your procedure.
Elevating your arms during sleep and inactivity can help reduce the risk of inflammation and facilitate healing. With proper care and Dr. Hermann's approval, most patients can return to work within two weeks of surgery.
Attend all follow-up appointments with Dr. Hermann so he can check on your progress, remove drainage tubes, and take out stitches.
Should you need it, pain medication will be prescribed to keep you comfortable.
Ensuring Long-Lasting Arm Lift Results
Although the elasticity of your skin will decrease as you age, there are a few measures you can take to support long-lasting results. Maintaining a stable weight will help keep your arms from losing their toned, contoured look. To help your scars fade, cover them when in direct sunlight.
